These double sided leather strops are just what the doctor ordered for keeping your knives mega sharp. A leather strop is used to hone the blade after sharpening for an added silkiness and between sharpening to 'touch up' the blade. Just like a barber who uses a straight razor. I also add aluminum oxide to one side of the leather for even more refinement to the edge. It's a bit OCD, but, hey, that's what we're all about

These strops are made in Calgary, Alberta. The wood used is trim from a cabinet maker destined for the wood chipper or the dump. A great way of reducing waste.
